Bored Ape Yacht Club, the creators of the popular NFT collection “Bored Ape NFTs,” has announced the launch of their new blockchain game, Dookey Dash.
Dookey Dash is a “runner style”, action-packed adventure that allows players to collect and trade unique digital apes, known as Dookeys, while competing in a series of challenging levels.
The game’s art style is inspired by the Bored Ape NFTs, featuring cartoon apes in funny costumes in wacky adventures. The gameplay will resemble classic games like Temple Run and Subway surfer where players will have to guide their Apes through a variety of obstacles and enemies, using a combination of quick reflexes and strategic thinking to obtain the Key.
Dookey Dash will be launching on January 18th, 2022 in which only BAYC and Mutant Ape owners will get to try it out first using a Sewer Pass NFT.
The game will also come with a “skill-based mint” feature, meaning that it will come with a leaderboard – tracking the top scores to determine the top players. Players included within the leaderboard are teased to receive great prizes, likely another NFT item of some sort.
