The country’s leading mobile operator, Smart Axiata, is partnering with ACLEDA Bank (“ACLEDA”), one of Cambodia’s best-known financial institutions, to provide additional payment options, allowing customers to carry out digital transactions in a fast, secure way.

The new partnership will enable common users and partners of Smart and ACLEDA to make financial transactions across multiple channels via their ACLEDA account:

  • Smart prepaid subscribers will be able to e-top up their mobile number via their ACLEDA account in the SmartNas app and Smart website.
  • Smart enterprise customers will have the additional option to pay their monthly bills via their ACLEDA account in the PayMyBill web
  • Smart customers will be able to purchase special numbers in the GetMyNumber web portal and convert to an eSIM via their ACLEDA
  • Smart partners and dealers nationwide will be able to complete purchases and payments in the Dealer App via ACLEDA

Acting CEO of Smart Axiata Feiruz Ikhwan said: “Smart Axiata’s primary focus is on driving the pace of digitalization in the country for all customers, partners and industries. By adding ACLEDA Bank to our range of payment options, we are giving our customers even more choice and greater convenience.”

Introducing ACLEDA as a payment option across all of Smart’s digital channels is another step towards digitizing customers’ experiences and providing fast, reliable solutions for them and Smart’s partners.

Dr. In Channy, President & Group Managing Director of ACLEDA Bank Plc., said: “As one of the country’s best-known financial institutions, it is fitting that we are partnering with one of the country’s top mobile operators, Smart Axiata. Together, we will make secure, easy electronic payment solutions accessible to more and more users in the Kingdom of Cambodia.”

Electronic payments are fundamental to every digital economy. Smart is continuously striving to popularize, enable and raise awareness of e-payment solutions. As part of Smart’s campaign to encourage the adoption of digital solutions, the company’s E-Top Up to WIN promotion rewards customers with a prize every time they e-top up.
